MESSAGE BY HIS LORDSHIP BISHOP SEBASTIAN SHAW

CHAIRMAN - CARITAS PAKISTAN LAHORE

Caritas is a social wing of the Catholic Church which is a channel to share good news to the hopeless and create harmony in the community through awareness and development work of the community. Caritas is Herald of Love and Peace to the humanity and brings harmonious change.

I would like to appreciate the response of Caritas to the recent flood 2011 and relief work was operated to comfort the flood victims promptly. Now Caritas is functioning rehabilitation program to restore affected families to their normal life. My prayers and best wishes are with the whole team of Caritas Pakistan Lahore and pray that God use them to serve the humanity successfully and bring justice to the community. I advise the whole team to use God's gifted talents efficiently to glorify the Lord Almighty.

I also take this opportunity to thank all the stakeholders (Donors, Caritas Pakistan National Secretariat, other organizations, Government departments and communities) for their support to bring positive change in the society.
